Hey everyone!

I am so, so, sososo, so completely, infinitely sorry that these took me so long! I know that I owe you all better than this, and I had absolutely no excuse to take almost two months to write five little fics. I promise to not promise to do anything in the future that I won't have adequate time to actually do. Hopefully that sentence made sense.

In any event, they're done now and I'm about to post them, so yay! I hope you all like all of them and especially those written specifically for you. :)

As I'm sure most of you already know, there's been terrible flooding in Australia recently. I've seen a bunch of people volunteering to write or make graphics to help out, so I decided to pitch in too. I've put up an offer on the graphics fundraiser. If you want some new graphics from me (or anyone else who's offering), now's your time! I'll do any fandom you want!

Hey everyone!

So, yeah, I'm in the wrong here. I suck. (Bonus words for the first person who gets the reference! Not you, Ki.) I know I haven't posted any of my little ficlet gifts yet, and - I'm going to be honest here - that's because I haven't written any of them. As many of you already know, pretty much the entire month of December, but mostly the last two weeks, were a giant stress-fest for me. I hardly even got on the computer, let alone had time to sit and write. I'm really sorry for that.

But never fear! I will still be writing your gift fics, starting tomorrow. I wanted to offer you all the opportunity to change your request since it's now after Christmas. If you still want Christmas, I'll still write it, of course. But if you want to change, now's your chance! Again, sorry about this, but RL got in the way.

So, I've spent the past few days of my life working on world building for stargateland . I must say, I think ours came out awesomely. :)

On a related note, I have no clue how any of you do multiple 'land communities plus other fic exchanges and so forth. I'm dying with just the one.

On a completely unrelated note, which was the point of this entire post to begin with, somehowunbroken  is the most awesomest of ever. Courtesy of her, I now have a paid account and tons of space for pretty icons! And that is spectacular.

Anyway, I'm going to try to get some fics (ooh, plural!) and/or manips done soon, since I now have a week off for Thanksgiving. That is all. :)

The idea behind Spirit Day, first created by teenager Brittany McMillan earlier this month, is a simple one, not dissimilar to the idea of "Spirit Week" held in many high schools, and can be summed up in three words: Everyone Rally Together.

Spirit Day honors the teenagers who had taken their own lives in recent weeks. But just as importantly, it's also a way to show the hundreds of thousands of LGBT youth who face the same pressures and bullying, that there is a vast community of people who support them.

Purple symbolizes 'spirit' on the rainbow flag, a symbol for LGBTQ Pride that was created by Gilbert Baker in 1978.

Wearing purple on October 20 is a simple way to show the world that you stand by these courageous young people and a simple way to stand UP to the bullies. Remember those lives we've tragically lost, and show your solidarity with those who are still fighting. 'Go Purple' today!

I support Spirit Day and the LGBTQ community. I hope you do too.
